Wellbeing, Behaviour & Family Support Lead

 

  • In the morning I welcome the children into school 
  • I’m available for parents to speak to briefly in the mornings regarding concerns or questions for the day (for longer discussions appointment can be made for a Friday afternoon)
  • I give support for transition from home to school when needed, throughout their time at Rougham
  • If your child require nurture support please in the first instance speak to the class teacher
  • Following your discussion with the teacher appointments can either then be made for me to meet with parents or the pupil
  • Nurture groups or 1-2-1 sessions are held every afternoon for children with identified needs from class teachers (Bereavement. divorce, self esteem anxiety, behaviour/anger, social skills and more) 
  • I am around every lunchtime ensuring all children have someone to play with and are having a happy break/lunchtime
