The Eco Councillors have been very busy recently, with the launch of the Wild School Award.

The school are very excited to have been chosen to take part in the pilot for this brand new award being run by The Wildlife Trusts.

The aim is to get every child in school involved in activities inspired by our natural environment. Each class will contribute in some way, whether it be enjoying a lesson outside, making musical instruments from natural objects or searching for mini beasts, the list is endless. Many of the children have been sharing their own ideas with their teachers, as to how they would like their class to get involved.

We are tracking our progress on our new Wild School Award noticeboard in the school corridor, which already has photos of the Eco Council planting spring bulbs and Willow Class enjoying a wellie walk whilst looking for signs of Autumn.
